The label — a physical painting
The work
Painted in peach and cream over deep petrol. We macerate whole peaches with thyme cut at the end of the season, then fold in dark-roasted coffee and crumbs of shokupan, torn fresh. The result is soft at the front and startlingly bright at the back — a canvas that keeps changing while you look at it.
Ingredients
Peach, coffee, shokupan, thyme, citric acid.
Serve
Tall glass, one large clear cube, a thyme sprig slapped once between the palms.
